Yup, its that time again, DC-LAN is about to open registration for its next event! 12:00:01am November 1st is when registration opens for DC-LAN Winter, this coming January 6th and 7th, 48 hours of CS:S and CS1.6 tournaments, door prizes, eating contests, staying up all night, bawls and much much more!

Don't worry about calling for hotel reservations, all you do is pay your registration fee and check in the morning of the 6th!
What:
BYOC(Bring your own computer) LAN Party with $8,000 in cash prizes and $5,000 in hardware and goodies to be given away in raffles and door prizes!
How many seats:
200+ - We're still working the layout, we hope to fit 300, but we don't want it to be completely packed with no aisle ways in the ballroom, its looking more like 250 seats total!
This will allow for 20 teams for 1.6 and 20 teams for Source. One tournament will not be allowed to sell out the entire event, spaces are limited, get your team registered and pre-payed ASAP!
There will also be a handfull of "Non-competition seats" for those who wish to come and LAN for fun, these will be at a deep discount and won't include a hotel room or food.
Tournaments:
CS:S and CS1.6
$4,000 minimum pot for each
1st: $2,500
2nd: $1,000
3rd: $500
How much:
$80/person or $400/team
Before you freak out, read this:
This fee INCLUDES: Hotel room, Entrance to one tournament, Food on Saturday, 2 Raffle tickets for each team member to win one of over $5,000 worth of prizes!!
If you want to play in more than one tournament:
There will be an additional fee associated with playing in both tournaments, I'm still trying to decide how much it will be, it will also be based upon whether or not we sell out CS:S or 1.6 in advance, there might not be enough seats 
Is this a pre-pay LAN:
YES! We require 3 of your 5 teamates to be pre-paid by the 1st of December and the remaining 2 by the 15th of December, if your team doesn't make it before we sell out, too bad! Once registration opens on November 1st, pre-pay immediately to guarantee your team a seat at DC-LAN Winter!
Will there be *variable goes here*:
Internet : Yes, at least one, possibly 2 or 3 T-1's or T-3's...I'm still trying to negotiate the price, hotels try to bend you over and take you for all your worth 
Alcohol : In the ballroom, no. Outside of the ballroom, thats up to you
