Thats right folks, only a few days left to get your seat!
If you are planning on attending, but have yet to pre-pay, don't wait a minute longer! As you can see on the left we've got 192 seats already paid for which means only 108 seats left! With 145 pending, that means 37 people won't get in to DC-LAN:Winter! Don't be left outside or only allowed to spectate! Guarantee your seat and team a spot at this event by pre-paying now!
DC-LAN Sold out?
It hasn't happened yet, but we're close! I just got a confirmation from our 50th team last night leaving room for only 10 more teams! We are only 12 days away and I'm sure we can still sell out! For those teams planning to pay at the door, I urge you, pre-pay if you can! I'd hate to have teams show up expecting to pay at the door, but we don't have room because someone beat you there!
Waiver and Rules
For those of you who are attending, you will need to print and sign the form found linked to below If you are under the age of 18 and you DO NOT HAVE THIS FORM signed and with you at the door, you will NOT GET IN! Print the waiver, the rules don't have to come with you, but make sure that if you're under 18, your parent signs in the appropriate spot! Don't forget it at home, it's only going to cause you issues! Parents: We would love to have you in attendance so you can see what your children are doing, we love parents support of the gaming scene! There's a ton of stuff that you can do while your kids are playing, it's Washington DC, ever been to the Smithsonian?
Hotel rooms
If you are still wondering if your team has a hotel room or not, I will be sending out an email this week with every team name and who their room will be reserved under. If there are any issues with this list, I need to know ASAP, so keep your eyes open!
Also, if you have not yet pre-paid for your team OR for extra hotel rooms, I am only guaranteed the $95/night rate until December 29th, this is as far back as I could get it pushed. After that, admission will go up to reflect the room rates!
Monitor Rentals
We're currently sold out! However, I can get more monitors if they are pre-paid for. The cost will now be $45 per monitor and I must have at least 10 pre-payments for monitors before I can go buy them. Hopefully everyone that needs one, already pre-paid and isn't waiting until the last minute! If all else fails, there's a Best Buy right around the corner, go buy one, keep the box and reciept and return it when DC-LAN is over! No guarantees, do this at your own risk.
Bawls
It's not too late to get some bawls! We will actually be picking up our order on the 1st or 2nd of January so I can take pre-payments for Bawls all the way up until the 31st! Do not wait, pre-pay now for either a 24pk@10oz Glass bottles $30 or 24pk@16oz Aluminum cans $40. Prices go up $10 at the door and we will only have a limited quantity! We will also be selling bawls individually for $3 for 1 or $5 for 2! See you all very soon!
